Wix Corvid – Multiple Criteria Search & Filtering

Require Wix Corvid code to enable searching and filtering with multiple inputs.
The search criteria populates a repeater element populated from a Wix dataset.

Search elements are as follows:

1. Free text entered into a search bar and ‘search’ button clicked. Searches across multiple fields in the dataset e.g. Title, Description, Address

2. Category / Subcategory / Topic dropdowns. No need to click search button for results to be updated. Subcategory and Topic to be dynamically populated based on the content of the previous dropdown.

3. Selectable tags from 4 groups. Each group of tags is contained within a separate field in the dataset. Selection should be *and* not or (must contain all tags) if selected. If no tag from the group is selected (default) then the tag criteria isn’t used in the filter criteria.

Other required features

4. ‘Number of’ results displayed in a text field
5. ‘Sort by’ dropdown to order the records displays in the repeater element
6. ‘Reset button’ clears all criteria (free text, category dropdowns, selected tags)

Hopefully this requires relatively low levels of new code. Happy to provide a Wix developer login to allow implementation and testing the code.

This is the first of a variety of similar Wix Corvid code related tasks I’ll be listing and so there’s a high chance of repeat work needing a similar skillset.
