VR Game | Compatible with NFT project

I’m looking to create an NFT project that can be linked to a VR game where everyone can upload their individual NFT characters from this particular project into the game (Which I’m not sure is possible, so I’d love to talk to you about alternative options if not).

The project is at the base stage, as I am still looking to hire team members in various positions. Currently, I’m looking to see what is possible and not when it comes to VR game development and NFTs.

My current vision is to have a fantasy-based world with multiple areas. A large town area for people to hang out in with a town hall/tavern, a small shop where personal items can be purchased with in-game tokens, a quest hall, an area where each person has their own small personalized living area where they can invite up to 5 others inside with them, and multiple out-of-city areas with NPC monsters to battle and gain XP from while completing quests (Such as a wilderness area, cemetery or mountain range). Also, a small casino area where people can bet their in-game tokens to play card games

(A lot of my VR vision is coming from my game experience with Orbus Vr and I’m not sure how applicable it is, if at all. My knowledge is next to zero as I have no game creation experience, just gaming experience, and a vision. So please let me know what is and isn’t feasible.)
