We are looking for a virtual assistant that also has expertise in the XERO accounting package (New Zealand version). The successful candidate will work between two small companies providing day to day services across both. The initial tenure will be for three months (with chance to extend full year).

The first assignment is bank reconciliation in XERO.

o Reconcile outstanding transactions and confirm bank reconciliation.
o Create company ‘reconciliation rules’ to define how transactions are treated.
o Review and set up XERO bank transaction and transfer rules properly.

Ongoing Role and Responsibilities

Administration
• Organise meetings, venues and participants.
• Take meeting notes and manage the action register.
• Organise staff travel and accommodation.
• Prepare monthly staff time sheet reports.

XERO
• Bank reconciliation in XERO.
• Company bills and payables.
• Company invoicing and receivables.

Other miscellaneous administration and finance tasks may be added.
