Virtual Accounting (+ Financial Analyst)

Hello,

I run a home improvement business and I am looking to outsource my accounting and financials. I have the drive and determination to make my business work, now I just need someone to keep track and organize my accounts. I use different payment apps such as Venmo and Cash App. Currently we have a very beautifully-unorganized business as far as our financial understanding. Not only am I looking for an extremely savvy accountant but also someone with the knowledge and skillset to think long term and help us to develop and build this company bigger.

One word that describes me is, off-the-wall. So I have the mindset of, lets try and figure out a way to design this business structure in such a way that, everyone benefits. Maybe to entice more individuals to stay long term, we set up some sort of LLLP for them? I don’t know. But that is where you will earn your keep. By just having the strong knowledge and skillset to answer, or research, these sort of requests, and then tell me: “Yes that is doable, but here is a better way” or “no, that’s impossible and completely wrong.”

We have limited assets, but I want to be a student of the accounting world too. I can research all I want, but until I see it put into action, I am lost. Please, do not be a punch the time clock kind of person. This does not mean that I would expect you to donate time, all I am saying is that I understand quality. The best of the best deserve to be treated and compensated as such. Now, I cannot afford the best of the best right now, but also, being the best of the best is relative. To me, that person is someone who loves to go down rabbit holes in order to find a solution, leaving no stone unturned. Resourceful, smart, savvy, and for lack of better terminology; someone who can find unorthodox ways to legally run a business.

But with the right person, we can really build a relationship and you and me together, can design this job into what you envision. I do not like to micromanage, but I do love to be Wow-ed. I am an old school millennial who understands hard work and is looking to build a solid team of partners. So this may or may not stop at this job. I plan to have multiple things going on the next several years, so having someone to keep me grounded, financially and professionally, are all major things I am seeking.
