SVG and JS expert wanted

Hi,
I am looking for a coder who will change text embeding to an open source my version of WBO whiteboard: https://github.com/lovasoa/whitebophir.
Please advise me, there are two versions of WBO. #1 I’ve added the ability to display foreignObject and that’s exactly what I want. However, this version does not have the ability to change the font type and size that version #2 has. However, version #2 has text input via textarea, which I don’t like, because I want to allow the user to edit text directly on SVG, without noticing the transition between editing and viewing modes. I was thinking about a text editor that appears when the user clicks on a SVG, and that can be closed by clicking the cursor away from it. The text displayed in that editor, should look identical to the text drawn on SVG. An example below. Is it better to add the ability to change the font type and size to version #1, or is it better to change the way of entering text in version #2 to the one that there is in version #1? What would be easier for you? I am happy to be open to another solution you propose.
