Python element selector

I need a function written in Python that:

When a user clicks on an element in Google Chrome (Such as a button, text field, or checkbox), the function displays a message showing the Xpath of the element that was clicked, as well as the type of input it is (Checkbox, text field, button, link, etc).

This needs to work on any website, please include the words “I can make the element selector” in your bid so I know you read the description.
