Proofreading/improving an article in Polish language (STUDENTS WELCOME, NO EXP NEEDED) ; 1700 words; (PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION)

Hello,

I am looking for someone for a long term project (5-10 hours weekly for several months). Please only apply if you are a native speaker (or close to it)- also, if you only want to do this one file and are not interested in more- please don’t apply.

I have some automatically generated content (gt translate from content in English). I need someone to proofread it and edit it, removing all the errors while doing so, but also fixing other issues, making the text more readable/nicer, fixing translation errors and so on. If something doesn’t make sense, I would want you to edit it (based on the context) so it would make sense.

The goal is to have the final text (after you do your part) look like a native speaker wrote it (so that a random reader wouldn’t look at the text and say “this looks like something a machine would create”).

As already mentioned in the first paragraph, I would have plenty of these if this first file is done properly- there would probably be around 800,000 words (~400 articles of 2,000 words on average) so the budget will be much bigger if we work long term together.

To see who would be the right candidate for this job, I have one file attached below. I would need you to edit it according to the instructions above (in general, more changes- the better. The file that needs proofreading is POL House; the source file is just “English House”). Then, if everything is ok, we would provide you with the offer for long term work.

Please when you applying, do the test file and write in your application how long it took you and what is your expected hourly rate for this kind of work.

The context of this article (and all future ones) is as you can probably already tell- about “what does it mean to dream of a house” (gt might have used word “desire” instead of “dreaming”, please have that in mind).

While proofreading the file, please pay attention to how much time did you roughly need (average from the current freelancers working on it is 40-60 minutes). Also, I would very much appreciate if you would, in your bid for the project, write what would be your expected hourly rate for this type of work.
