Test Scenario

1. Graph the data to show “Gross Sales” over time (day). Provide an explanation for low Sales from September 14 September 15th including main drivers.

2. Find a way to detect the outliers’ sales data, both manually (with using statistics algorithm) and automatically (using PBI features and visuals) then compare your results. Please describe your methods in a reasonable detail.

3. “Net Sales” is “Gross Sales” excluding “Cancellations”. Graph the data to show Gross Sales and Net Sales by Week and Day (Hierarchy) and on a secondary axis, show the Cancellation % of Gross Sales, where the % is calculated by dollars cancelled.

4.”Qty Ordered” shows the number of units the customer purchased. “Qty Damaged” shows the numbers of units that were damaged.

a. Provide insight and explain your data mining method/algorithm about the main damage drivers and how Damage %’s can be reduced.

b. Describe in reasonable detail the analysis method or algorithm you are using to address this problem. A pseudocode description of the method/algorithm you are using is useful. Trace through a concrete example, showing how your data mining processes on this example.
c. Present the quantitative results of your experiments. What are the basic differences revealed in the data? Are they statistically significant?

5. Create a dashboard for the business to show their monthly performance. You can put all the useful KPIs you’ve created so far as well as the main drivers of each KPIs.

6. Provide a summary report (Narratives) about their performance including any other insights you would see based on this data.
