Playing Card Size Character Illustration

Project Description

We are making a deck of playing cards to be distributed at a large international conference.

We are looking for six (6) artists to draw ten (10) fantasy full-body characters each. Each illustrated character will be based on a 10-minute video interview that we will send the artist so that they can get a feel for the person being portrayed and how they imagine/describe themselves. We will turn each illustration into a playing card.

The illustration will be smaller than 3.5″ x 2.5″.

We will pay $50 before and $50 after the completion of each illustration.

Timeline

1. The artist responds to the job posting with a link to their portfolio.
2. The artist signs the NDA.
3. We send the video-recorded interview and the first payment.
4. The artist sends the illustration within five (5) days of receiving the video-recorded interview.
5. We send the final payment.
6. If we like the work, we will commission nine (9) more illustrations, and the process will be the same as above (steps 1 – 5).
