Data is Alive is a company that offers consultation, development, data/business analysis and coaching to executives. To expand our market, we have products we want to develop and offer them on a B2B market. The product details will be provided when the hire happens, and a non-disclosure agreement is signed. The products we have in mind are ethical. The only item that might be culture-incompatible is that you must be comfortable working with alcohol-related data.
Responsibilities:
– Work closely with the CEO to develop new products (database, back end & front end)
– Work on the company’s website
– Work on small other front-end projects
Work conditions:
– Full-time role (garanteed 35h/week)
– Flexible schedules (you will need to be available during the daytime on eastern time zone (EST) for meetings and the meeting will be planned at least 48 hours in advance)
– 100% remote
– 4 weeks/year paid vacation after 1 year
– 12 paid off days per year (holidays/personal) after 1 year
Skillets
– Experience with Microsoft products (SQL Server, .NET, Microsoft Visual Studio)
– Entity Framework
– C#
– Strong JavaScript skills (framework use will be limited to jQuery)
– HTML5/CSS3
– Strong front-end skills
– Infographic skills (not mandatory – an asset)
– English fluently
– French (not mandatory – an asset)
The interview process is 1 round only with the CEO. The format of the interview is an open discussion. The selected candidates for an interview will be contacted between May 21st and May 23rd. Interviews will be done during the week of May 21st. All candidates that will do an interview will receive a response and if requested, detailed feedback. The selected candidate will be hired on May 27th at the latest. Staring date of work can be discussed accordingly with existing contracts.
