Network Engineer (CCNA Certified) Ireland

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer with CCNA certification to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of network architecture and protocols, including LAN, WAN, and wireless technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless technologies.

• Monitor and optimize network performance, capacity, and security.

• Troubleshoot network issues and resolve them quickly and efficiently.

• Collaborate with other IT teams to develop and implement network solutions that align with business requirements.

• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support and maintenance.

• Create and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configuration files, and standard operating procedures.

• Stay up-to-date with emerging network technologies and trends, and evaluate their potential impact on the network infrastructure.

Requirements:

• CCNA certification is mandatory.

• At least 2-3 years of experience in network engineering.

• Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPN, wireless, and security.

• Hands-on experience with Cisco networking equipment and software, including Cisco IOS and Nexus switches.

• Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
