MediaWiki Maintenance

We have a sophisticated, stable, and mature MediaWiki application with many customized extensions developed over 13 years, hosted at Digital Ocean. No new extensions are contemplated. We have staging and production websites.

We are looking for an independent developer with a commitment to freelancing to port our MediaWiki extensions to MW 1.39 LTS. In the process, re-organize the listing of extensions into a more logical framework, convert some Perl extensions to PHP, and delete unused extensions. Going forward, we want to establish a monthly retainer arrangement to (a) upgrade the MW application and the DO server for security releases, (b) replace infrastructure software when they approach EOL, and (c) be available to quickly correct any bugs.  

The developer should have extensive MW experience including, ideally, contributing to MediaWiki.org.
