In the last few days, we have finally seen a few tourists on the road; consequently, our App has had a few DownLoads as well.

More consistent use has unfortunately highlighted malfunctions that we had not encountered during testing. 

In particular, there are two very serious ones that need to be removed as soon as possible so as to avoid as much as possible complaints and claims from various users.

Consider that these mishaps can lead to Negative Reviews.

PROBLEM #1.

 When the “Automatic Lock” is triggered on a SmartPhone, the Audio stops.

 Basically, what happens? The user activates the Audio of a Paragraph (duration varies around 2 minutes) and devotes his attention to watching the sights described by the Audio.

Normally he holds the SmartPhone in his hand, perhaps facing down, so this results in inactivity. Therefore, if he exceeds the time set as “Automatic Lock” the SmartPhone goes into lockout.

For example, on the iPhone this lock can only take values set by Apple as 30″ and above.

When the SmartPhone goes to Automatic Lock the MyRoma Audio also stops contrary to what should happen.

We were surprised and wanted to check what happens in similar Apps. All of them, indistinctly, do not stop the Audio when the Automatic Lock is triggered.

We also ran tests with several SmartPhones and all but one presented the problem in question.

The only one in which the problem did not occur was an Android SmartPhone, which makes us assume that the inconvenience is present only on the IOS version.

PROBLEM #2.

 A user told us that after purchasing the App, for unknown reasons, he deleted it. After reloading it he tried to do Premium Version Restore but the outcome was negative.

We tried to do the same thing as well and here was a surprise.

Since it was a Spaniard who had done the DownLoad from the Apple Store, we tested on 6 SmartPhone with the Spanish version, although we do not believe that language had anything to do with it.

The surprise is that on 4 iPhones and 1 Android the Restore worked while on one iPhone the error occurred.

Of course, we can give you precise information about the phone on which the problem occurred(model, phone number, …).
