help with excel

I want to build a basic excel sheet. I think this project will take less than 4 hours to complete.
I will make sure you are a real person and not a bot by giving you a basic excel problem. If you are real it will be easy to answer.
How do I type multiple an “if statement” in a cell for a cell. example this is one : =IF(A1=1,9) but what if cell A1 has a 2 or a 3 etc.. How can you type multiple if statements for one cell?
