Gyroscope mock
Project detail
This project aims to control a Gyroscope, having motors in 3 axes.
As the delivery of this work, I would like to obtain:
– Complete technical drawing.
– Arduino program, containing comments for understanding the flow.
– List of recommended components, cables, boards, motors, other elements deemed necessary for future purchase.
The idea is to have two Servo Motors and a DC motor. The DC motor in the center, axis C, image attached, being powered by a current that will pass through a Slip Ring Connector B. Such Slip Ring Connector turns from axis B, which represents the second servo motor, also powered by current that will pass through Slip Ring Connector A, coming from A. The DC motor will be activated as soon as the Arduino is connected to the power source. Servo motors will be driven clockwise and anti-clockwise according to 4 Push Buttons connected to Arduino Board.
In the sequence of connections, we will basically have:
– 4 Push Buttons
– Arduino board
– Slip Ring Connector A
– Servo Motor A
– Slip Ring Connector B
– Servo Motor B
– DC Motor
When Push Button A1 is activated, Servo Motor A rotates clockwise, when Push Button A2 is activated, Servo Motor A will rotate anti-clockwise.
When Push Button B1 is activated, Servo Motor B will rotate clockwise, when Push Button B2 is activated, Servo Motor B will rotate anti-clockwise.
Motor rotation speeds should be set to constants, and clearly documented for easy updating.
Base engines size:
– A and B: 5V Servo Motor
– C: 5V Micro DC Motor
