Fix email issue

We have a domain connected to one cPanel account as an add on domain, where there is an email address setup.
However, the A record is setup to point to another cPanel account where the website is hosted. The MX records are set to stay with the original cPanel account but we are getting an error when we send an email to the domain that says there isn’t an email there. It makes it look like it is pointing to the website cPanel.
We need an expert to make the emails continue to point to the old cPanel, or create the email address with the same password (we don’t know this) and migrate it to the new cpanel.
We need someone to do this urgently.
