E-books brought up to paperback publishing requirements

I have a series of e-books that I have successfully loaded onto Amazon kindle for sale – I am unable to understand and achieve Amazon’s margin/trim requirements to successfully upload file for selling as a paperback/ hardcover. I need the files corrected for Amazon’s publishing requirements.
