Designer for a Creative Multilingual Magazine

We are looking for a graphic designer to create an informational yet literary magazine for our Literature and Language department. In this magazine, we would like to feature poems, short stories, interviews and art projects done by our students in different languages. As well, we would like to include pictures about our study abroad programs and our clubs.
We want to create an attractive, artistic, fun, but classy magazine to stand out the literary and artwork done by our students. We would like a magazine that has an ordered looked. This magazine should appeal to the reader’s eye. Although we want a colorful magazine, it works best in a minimal design for an easy reading. We would like to avoid busy backgrounds or a jumble of words and images in one layout.
Overall, the job includes:
1. The design of the magazine approximately 66-70 pages and 8.5″ x 11″ or 9” x 12” (We are open for sizing suggestions)
-The font must show the essence of the magazine. We would like something unique and artistic for titles, captions, names, etc.
-Literary and Art works are the most important pieces of this magazine.
-Display artistically trips and clubs pictures. For example, pictures with fun frames.
2. To design a unique and artistic cover for the magazine: For this issue we would like to have a chameleon as our main image.
3. To design the layouts of the magazine using the chameleon and its colors as symbolism throughout the magazine. (See file “Chameleon” and “Dear reader”)
4. To design and to organize table of content with a modern, artistic, but minimalistic design (see file “Index”)
5. To design acknowledgements & Editors page with editors’ pictures.
