Design of Microfluidics Setup
Purpose
– The purpose of the microfluidics setup is for research purposes.
Materials
– Both metals and polymers will be used in the setup.
Size
– The size of the microfluidics setup will be determined by calculating the length of the tubings.
General overview:
The setup consists of syringe pump , valves , PFA polymer based tubing that is transparent, connector, metal tubing ( made of SS) , helical units ( to heat up the slug up to 320 C ) , another metal tubing , connector and PFA tubing followed by characterization equipment. The idea is that we can control movement of the slug in the entire setup and undergo it under rigorous conditions ( 320 C for 50 minutes ) so the reaction takes place.
I have been closely working with another freelancer and with him we coded in Anduino T- sensor and solenoid valves. However, now I am seeking an engineer who is not only capable in programming , electronics , but also knows Soildworks , can perform heat analysis , and design and draw the entire microfluidics setup.

Ideal Skills and Experience
– Experience in designing microfluidics setups for research purposes.
– Knowledge of working with both metals and polymers.
– Ability to calculate the length of tubings for the desired size of the setup.
– Soildworks , Programming in Anduino , electronics
