Data collection ( trucking business)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced freelancer to collect data on list of companies in the the trucking industry. The ideal candidate will have a passion and deep skills for research and a strong understanding of the trucking industry. The data collected will include a list of shippers, carriers, brokers, commercial insurance companies, truck drivers, truck auctioning companies, CDL providers, Dispatching Companies, Free CDL Providers, and any other relevant sector in the trucking industry. the targeted companies are mainly offer subscription-based data point services related to the trucking business. (Example of the companies we need is www.ecarriercheck.com)

Responsibilities:

-Use advanced search techniques to locate and collect data from different sources such as websites, social media platforms, and databases
– Conduct extensive research to identify and collect data on companies within the trucking industry.
– Compile a comprehensive list of subscription base platforms who offers the data of tracking information, The candidate will collect the information about the subscription companies who have the data point of the (Shippers, Carriers, drivers, brokers, truck sellers, CDL providers, etc)
– Organize and present data in a clear and easy-to-understand format.
– Update and maintain the database on a regular basis to ensure accuracy and relevance. Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in the trucking industry.

Qualifications:

– Proven experience in internet data collection and research
– Strong understanding of web scraping, data collection methodologies and data privacy regulations
– Strong understanding of the trucking industry
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Experience with data visualization and presentation tools
– Excellent attention to detail
– Strong organizational and time management skills
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Timeline:

Truckroots data collector is expected to be completed within 2 working days starting from the awarded date. The freelancer will be expected to work very closely with the general manager of Truckroots LLC and will be required to provide regular updates on the progress of the project.

Budget:

Negotiable based on the experience, speed and the quality of the freelancer.
