Create a custom code snippet for an email referral campaign

I have a weekly marketing newsletter that I’m trying to build an refferal program for.

I’m using Podia.com to send out the email but all of the newsletter referral all programs like SparkLoop & Viral Loop don’t work with it 🙁

So my thought is, if I can figure out a way to drop each subscriber’s email in a UTM snippet for my main landing page, I will be able to track amount of referrals from each person.

But, I’m not sure how to take the email for each subscriber and have that auto populate in a UTM string after my main landing page’s URL…

Is there a little code snippet that you can write that pulls the subscribers email and drops it into a UTM parameter slot?

Essentially if I can put in the footer of the email

“P.S. – do you love this newsletter? Share it with one friend for a chance to win my free e-book! Just share this link with them: growthhacksweekly.com/utm_source=(that subscribers email here)

And the code you write would pull that subscribers email and drop it in the UTM snippet… that would work perfectly!

Is that possible? Does this make sense?
