Connector for Home Assistant

Hello,
I would like to use a hardware built for a home automatic system called homematic in another home automation system callees Home Assistant. It creates JSON files with all the attributes and the values.
There is already an adapter for a similar hardware available which can be used in Home Asistant.

I think the existing adapter could be used as a template for creating a new adapter.
