We are one of California’s leading Electronic Contract Manufacturers, providing quick-turn PCBA and Cable Assembly solutions to the Electronics Industry.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Analyze Materials Requirements Planning process (MRP).
Perform new planned buys, reschedule, cancel, and supplier delivery confirmations.
Manage procurement of material and work on reducing the overall material cost.
Review lead-time and minimum order quantities (MOQ) based on quotes or contracts prior to placing orders.
Track purchase orders in a timely manner and inform the operations team and program management of any potential issues.
Work directly with planning to review MRP and other demand changes.
Work on resolving receiving discrepancy, RTV, and MRB issues.
Negotiate pricing, delivery and other terms and conditions.
Manage materials scheduling within inventory goals and not to exceed the operations inventory goal. At the same time, make sure attrition rate guidelines are applied.
Heavily involved with the completion of customer quotes. Encompasses material quotation, outsourcing / outside process quotes, alternative material proposal and etc.
*Compensation: US $800 per month
*Preferred Location: Asia Pacific region, Hong Kong
2 years experience in contract manufacturing industry or electronic assembly environment.
Hands on experience purchasing printed circuit boards, active & passive components, wire, cable, connectors, machined parts and other raw material commodities.
Working knowledge of MS Windows, Excel, and Word – is a must.
Experience with MRP planning is required – experience with MiSys, Sage, Calcuquote (quote software) a plus.
