Build a Blog website

I have started to create a blog website using wix. I would like to make changes to the this website so i can maintain it. In order to do that you need to make this boiler plate website into a proper Web blog. then you need to take it out from wix and host it on my host gator web hosting plan with new domain name ( i will get the domain name).
