Looking For Experienced 3D Animator To Animate Lots of FP Weapons and Hands for Multiplayer FPS Game
Project detail
Hi,
I am looking for an experienced 3D Animator who can animate A LOT of First Person animations with weapons and FP hands for a Multiplayer FPS Shooter in unity 3D. The software of choice for these animations would be Maya as I have the hands rigged already for Maya however I am not opposed to using another software, but I will not be paying extra for any rig changes or new rig for those softwares so proceed with this in mind. All Weapon models have separate parts they need to be fully animated if they need any as well but may not be rigged for animation.
Now when I say a lot of weapons I mean a lot of weapons. These the exact numbers I have here for weapons in need of animation:
– Bare Hands
– 12 Melee Weapons
– 24 Grenades
– 12 Lethal Grenades
– 12 Tactical Grenades
– 105 Shooting Weapons (Guns/Bows/Launchers/Other)
All of the animations that are needed for each weapon will be listed in the document that I will provide below. I want to note that not all the animations listed in the document are needed for each weapon, I am sure it will be clear in the doc but to be sure I have put it here as well. The types of weapons and their animations have been separated into sections. All of the animation requirements are in the document as well but to be clear, here they are as well:
– File Format must be FBX Containing all animations for that one weapon
– Animations must be in 60 FPS
– Camera Animations required for most animations.
– Animations must be made with a first person character/body in mind no off screen stuff (More in the document if not understood)
The animations must be realistic, fluid and detailed, some games you can use as references should be, Modern Warfare 2019 and Battlefield V.
I will go over each reference for all weapon animations as we do them and give any descriptions necessary to understand the functionality of the weapon etc…
Lastly, this is also stated in the document but again I want to make a note of it now; Each weapon in total require a good amount of animations, However, most of the animations required are under a category I call “Some Shared” This is due to the fact that all of the animations in this category can be copy and pasted for most weapons with small and minor tweaks to fit the new weapon and make it its own. This is to reduce cost and time heavily and because there is no need to make any of those animations different due to a change in weapon. Now I say Some Shared and not All Shared, due to the fact that some groups of weapons may need some of those animations to be specific to them. Ex: Crawling animation. For snipers and other large guns, both hands would stay on the gun and use elbows to crawl as its too heavy to crawl with one hand. However for lighter guns such as pistol, it is very possible to crawl with the gun in one hand instead of both so pistols and other lighter weapons would have this version of the crawl animation.
I hope all of this has put everyone on the right step in detailing what I am looking for, how the process would go and what the document will hold to proceed with the project. So without further a due, here is the document: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1uRuCjKxWRpPkKeZ2cO_dqO1TNBBqPD8us06JmasDZfA/edit?usp=sharing
If anyone is interested please do let me know and would love to chat with you!
Note: Price is a placeholder we can negotiate price points.
Note: This is also stated in the document but there may be a couple of animations missing, I went over it and did not find any to be missing for now, but in case something comes up or I remember to expect perhaps a couple of extra animations, if not then great!
