Project detail

We have been drying calcium carbonate in bulk for 20 years in Germany and we are relocating to Romania.
This is a long term business, however the German employees have moved on to a different business.
Therefore we need to start from ground zero in Romania. Transylvania is ideal because we have customers nearby.

I need an experienced engineer or a project manager to set up a batch process in a sub contractor, or establish the equipment in my own indepdent facility.

Objective: to dry, sieve and pack very very fine particles of calcium powder in Romania, preferably between Blaj and Târgu Mureș. The specialist knowledge required is setting up a drying oven to dry 150 tons of calcium powder per year.

Equipment to source and install: Oven, Sieve, conveyor belts, forklift, 4-wheel loader (or a forklift with a universal fork/shovel attachment) and metal containers.

The indoor facility footprint would be approximately one tennis court in size.

An outdoor field to store the raw calcium powder, another tennis court or two in size.

Material Flow: The wet mud like calcium is moved to the oven to be dried then packaged

Material: The material is transformed from a wet sludge to a very dry powder.

Volume: 150 metric tons per year.

There exists already in Romania ovens for fertilizer, porcelain and glass factories some in Transylvania.
A project engineer who knows these ovens or has connections to these factories would be good.
1st objective would be to locate an oven that can rent out 150 Ton capacity per year.
2nd objective to set up the facioity for sieving and packaging the calcium powder

The alternative plan is to buy our own oven, if a second hand one can be sourced.
The person must be experienced mature and capable of operating alone because I have not yet formed any company in Romania.
