Experienced MikroTik Engineer with BGP Expertise for Multi-Location Router Setup

We are seeking a highly skilled MikroTik engineer with extensive BGP experience to set up and configure CHR/CCR routers in multiple locations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring routing between locations, setting up firewall rules, and establishing BGP transit and peering.
All work can be done from remote location.
Responsibilities:
– Design and implement a robust and efficient network infrastructure using MikroTik CHR/CCR routers in various locations
– Configure routing between locations to ensure seamless connectivity and optimal performance
– Set up and manage firewall rules to secure the network and protect against potential threats
– Establish BGP transit and peering relationships with multiple upstream providers and peers
– Troubleshoot and resolve network issues as they arise
– Monitor network performance and make recommendations for improvements as needed
– Provide clear documentation of the implemented network topology, configuration, and maintenance procedures
– Collaborate with the team to ensure the network meets our performance and security requirements
Requirements:
– Proven experience working with MikroTik routers, specifically CHR and CCR models
– In-depth knowledge of BGP, including transit and peering setup, route filtering, and traffic engineering
– Strong understanding of routing protocols such as OSPF and static routing
– Familiarity with firewall configuration and security best practices
– Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues
– Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
– Relevant certifications (e.g., MikroTik Certified Network Associate or MikroTik Certified Routing Engineer) are a plus
