Education is an investment in human capital. First describe to me how you view your education as an investment (i.e. tell me what you intend to do and how a degree gets you there). What are you doing to maximize your return on your investment? If you are not getting a degree with a specific job or field in mind, justify your investment in other ways if possible. Use micro terms such as marginal product, opportunity cost, sunk cost, expected rate of return, etc. in analyzing the decision. In summation, discuss the cost/benefit analysis of the decision you are making to take this class and pursue the degree you are pursuing.

Interest rates determine a tremendous amount in capital markets. How do interest rates impact colleges and universities which are producers of human capital. Are low interest rates good or bad for universities? Explain the pros and cons.
