VTEX Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced VTEX Team Leader to lead our team of developers based in Latin America. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background in web development and the VTEX platform, as well as previous experience leading and managing a team of developers.

Responsibilities:

– Lead a team of VTEX developers in the development, implementation, and maintenance of e-commerce websites on the VTEX platform.
– Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
– Collaborate with other team leaders and stakeholders to define project requirements and priorities.
– Mentor and coach team members to help them develop their skills and achieve their goals.
– Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback to team members.
– Ensure that development practices follow best practices, are scalable and maintainable.
– Continuously improve development processes and implement new tools and technologies to enhance the development workflow.

Requirements:

– Strong technical background in web development and VTEX platform.
– Experience leading and managing a team of developers.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
– Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
– Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React or AngularJS.
– Experience working with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
– Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
– Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins.
– Fluent in English.
