Build a simple Inbox Messaging App for iOS and Android (with PHP/MySQL backend)

Hi there. I need a quick and simple app where users can log in or sign up and check their inbox messages.

It should show red text and/or some sort of new icon for new messages. And users should be able to attach images. I think I want clickable links too that allow the user to view a web link (in WebView).

I would like this to be clean, native Swift for iOS and then whatever is clean for Android – I hate cross platform stuff like React.

I actually already have an iOS App with the sign up, login and an inbox but it’s really old…but the backend API works perfectly – it’s RESTful API style with PHP with Slim and MySQL.

If you already have a messaging feature that you could copy to give me with a similar backend then I would consider that if you could show me a video or let me test a demo app or copy of it.
