jenkins 3 stages docker (5 stars) should simple

Please note I am trying to set this up; should be simple.

If you know Jenkins and Docker; perhaps you can advise / solution simple?

stage ONE
curl download a file and see that it is there (all good)

stage TWO
docker build and COPY . . so that all details should be there; including the download

stage THREE
docker run and do “ls -R” and look for this download file and the file is not there?

Can you help me solution this please ?

This really should be simple and hope that you can point my overlook or mistake?

We can do additional milestones after this is completed (short work task and pay after each one)
