Children's Magazine Ghost Writer

I am looking for someone to write a 12 part story to be used for a monthly magazine.

The magazine will have 4 pages

Targeted age: 4 year old’s, one for Girls and One for Boys
Pg1) Cover Page
Pg1 & 2) Simple illustrated story, that ties in each month to an end story after 12 months
4) Back Page will be black and white colouring (coloring) in page for the child to colour (color) in.

Obviously this is multi skilled, primarily I am after the story, if you can undertake the illustrations (or get someone to work with you on this) then a bonus.

Additionally if you can also or get done the cover and back picture for colouring (coloring) in then also a bonus, but I can source this elsewhere if necessary.

I am thinking a horse/pony/stable theme for a girl, and police/fire them for the boys.

Some form of aspirational story, educational and high quality will be needed. The story needs to be enduring and timeless so I can continue to use this for years to come.

With respect to the picture on the last page that is coloured (colored) in, after the 12 have been coloured (colored) in they can be put together as one big complete picture that ties in together, so for example with the horse/pony/stable theme it could be a whole farm/stable/dressage/training centre (center).

Looking for content, layout, graphics etc I assume some form of Vector/word/pdf – need advice on this.
