I need an excel expert to integrate QR codes to auto subtract from an inventory spreadsheet

I would like a spreadsheet put together that has a corresponding QR code for each item on the list. When that item is taken off the shelf I would like our employees to scan a QR code and it automatically be removed from the quantity column for that item. I would also like a clean look to the spreadsheet and everything other than the quantity locked so that it can’t be tampered with on accident. I estimate a total of 30 different items in total. This will probably result in more work to the spreadsheet later on as things need to be added in the same manner.
