Project detail

We are looking for a NATIVE Brazilian Portuguese speaker, who is also fluent in English, to check over some video game localisation audio for quality assurance.

The job consists of checking the audio of 17,900 words against the translated Brazilian Portuguese script and the original English to ensure that the spoken VO matches the translated text, is grammatically accurate and contextually appropriate.

Please note, this audio has already been translated, recorded and directed by native speakers so we don’t foresee many issues to arise. However, if the recorded audio is different from that of the script it’s likely a subtle change made during recording based on decisions made by the recording team. In these instances you would be required to write out the recorded line in full whilst making notes of any discrepancies in the audio recording.

Access to a computer that can run Google sheets and can access the internet is required.

For this project you would need to be available from the 30th of May until the 10th of June as the deadline is the 10th of June.

Audio will be supplied in regular batches during this time frame as the recordings are completed.

We can provide an example script and a small batch of audio at your request, however we would like to get you started straight away.
