Need One Page of a Mobile App Design and a Menu

This new mobile app empowers the JY community to view contests, vote on their favorite contestants, win prize money, follow their favorite artists, and post relevant content within the app for the community to like, love, and be inspired.

Logos and colors:
You can see the attached style_sheet image which has an image of the JY logo and the preferred colors. You can also take a look at the infographic10.pdf to see an infographic that was designed and we liked how this looked. The logo_DESC.pdf gives some background info on how the logo was created and why.

What we need for our mobile app design:

1. Header
2. Content within the body of the home page / main landing page
3. Footer
4. Menu rollout

Details for each:

Header:
a. Top left – JinnYouity logo / icon
b. Top Middle – text that reads “Home Dashboard”
c. Top right – An old television icon (that has unique, fun characteristic, if possible)

NOTE – this app is for artists and people who like to be creative and playful. So, make sure the design is fun and positive.

Middle content of App:

NOTE: the app’s main purpose is to display contests and let people watch submissions (videos, click on photos) and then use their daily votes to vote for their favs. Each contest has an end time, when all the votes are tallied, and the winner is automatically announced.

So, for the middle content, we want to display photos and videos of the contests that are almost ready to end. You should show ability for a user to Add Vote, see a digital clock showing how much time is left on a contest, and videos and or photo slideshow. Include tags for categories and sub categories.

I want the contests to be swipeable left and right. There will be rows of contests in a specific category (such as singing or Ending soon), and then the user can swipe left and right to see more in that category, as the user scrolls down, it shows more rows from different categories.

Similar to the Netflix Ui or most movie scrolling apps.

3. Footer

Make a row of icons for us.

a. Bottom left – plus sign icon (to add a post or add a submission to a contest)
b. Next icon – a notifications bell or alerts bell (for notifications – NOTE – please put a number 7 new over the icon, indicating there are 7 new notifications for the user)
c. Next icon – chat bubbles (put a 3 new above this icon indicating there are 3 unread chat messages)
d. Next icon – user profile avatar image – use a photo of a person
e. Bottom right – Menu icon button

4. Menu:

The Menu rollout needs to be something creative, fun, and visually stunning. The menu should have the following on it:

a. JinnYouity logo
b. Sponsor logo – “brought to you by Gibson Guitars”
c. Donate button, with option to donate $5. It should say “501(C3) Non Profit”
d. Links and icon buttons for the following pages:
– Home
– Notifications
– Chat
– Profile, Edit Profile
– Forums
– Marketplace
– Learn
– Donate
– About Us
– Share

That’s it! Not too bad right? Need a little more direction? I suggest checking out the home_dashboard.jpg – which shows a sketch drawing of what this page might look like. There is no sketch for the Menu yet, but just design something awesome.

Finally NOTE – we plan to use the mobile app framework called Ionic and Angular, so please take that into account as you design your award winning entries to this contest!
