Customer Sourcing and Tracking

We currently source and track every customer who walks into our retail store. The data on sourcing is collected and put in a spreadsheet for analyzation. We track the source of the customer, whether or not they made a purchase, and if they didn’t – what the reason was. We’d like to develop this a step further and take it beyond pen, paper and spreadsheets. I’d like to work with a developer to create an app that my salespeople use to record these customers. I want to emphasize that I want this to be a really simple app that’s easy to use. I’d like our sales people to log customers as they meet then and then have the ability to go back and select whether or not that person made a purchase. If the person didn’t make a purchase, I’d like them to have the ability to select why. At least to start, I’d like to keep everything minimal.
