Java/J2EE/Spring boot Devloper on Contract (full-time)

We are looking for a developer skilled in Java technologies with 5-7 years of experience on contract (full-time) for 6 months. The selected candidate would have to work remotely with team in India during India office hours 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (5 days a week).

Our Budget: INR 1,00,000 per month

In this role you will be responsible for developing and implementing server side components using Java and popular frameworks like Spring. You will also be responsible for coding, unit testing and improving performance and security of the applications.

A basic understanding of UI technologies will be an added advantage. The candidate should have experience in agile methodology and is expected to follow agile practices within the team.

Primary skill needs
• 3-5 years of software development experience
• Good logical skills and know-how on software engineering
• Experience in the following
o JAVA, J2EE, EJB, JMS, Spring
o Basic knowledge in Oracle
• Good understanding of REST APIs
• RDBMS – Oracle, IBM DB2, MySQL or PostgreSQL, Hibernate
• Knowledge of Build tools such as Maven. Gradle and Versoning tools such as GIT
• Good understanding of Microservices architecture
• Working knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies (scrum, XP)

Key Responsibilities:
• Developing and implementing highly-responsive server-side components using Java concepts
• Developing unit test automation and ensure proper unit testing of the developed codes.
• Troubleshooting and debugging application codes.
• Work with the agile team and ensure all agile process are followed
• Ability to play a variety of roles and most importantly take accountability.

Preferred Skills
• Experience working with Java 8 or above
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript
• Knowledge of containers (Docker/ECS)
• Customer interfacing skills
• Know-how of test automation frameworks
