An Indoor Positioning System (IPS) mobile application that aims to provide an effective and fast way to locate places, people, emergency exits, protective items (like masks, sanitizers, etc..) within a building and facilitate access to available classes and their working times. This project is a mobile application to provide an organized and comfortable way to manage these tasks together
Given the above mentioned difficulties and inconveniences, this new mobile app focuses on providing a fast and adaptive solution to find the shortest path to the desired destination within the facility. Not only does it allow navigation across the university, but it can also locate people within the building, complex, or hospital. This application helps remove the hustle and bustle of finding classes for students and lecturers as well in doctor’s rooms in the hospital or some malls stores. Moreover, visitors can easily find their way to the desired sections with the click of a button.
Requirements:
1- App should work fine. And correctly locate and navigate the user through the building
2- The app database should be well-organized
3- The building’s map will be provided to you so that you add it to the app and there should be an easy GUI for us to edit or add a map
4- There should be an option to share current location through social media
5- Details within the map (room numbers, emergency exits, etc….) should be visible in the app map
6- Live location like GPS, to navigate the user
