Image Collecting Project

Image collection project.

We are collecting pictures of babies and toddlers. Participants can use both Android and iPhones to take the pictures.

No image submitted to this project will be made public under any circumstance. We aim to protect the children’s privacy above everything else. This is a core principle for us, as we understand the sensitive nature of this project.

Purpose:
The purpose of this project is to enhance the quality of the images, especially with children’s content. Among its various uses, this technology can help identify infant faces in public photographs and develop the capacity of blurring them, to protect the children’s image.

Main requirements:

Your pictures will contain images showing children of up to 7 years. They must be clearly posing for the camera.
You will take pictures with a resolution of at least 3 megapixels.
Your pictures must be original. Photos taken from the internet or from other people will be rejected.

Diversity is encouraged! We will provide several different categories for you to choose from. The pictures will not have alterations of any type (filters, up sampling, etc.), but will follow certain instructions regarding lighting or orientation.

Pay Rate:
We pay per valid picture, $0.75

We work on a first come first served basis. Even if your picture is completely valid, it might still be rejected if others have submitted valid pictures first.
