Need a simple testing utility built that can look for a specific HID device (magnetic card swipe) by device name. Can locate this HID device, and read the data input from the MSR. This utility will be used for testing MSR devices in HID mode. This utility needs to be a standalone exe file. Can not be installed and can’t require any other dependences be installed. UI can be very simple, need to show detected MSR, and window to display input data contents. Would need a “Detect” button to force app to look for connected HID device again if one was unplugged and another inserted. If branding it is an option with our logo, that would be good, but not a must have. Programming language doesn’t matter as long as the utility can function as standalone EXE.
